Plains LogoThe Texas Education Agency has released 2016 Distinction Designations. Plains ISD is pleased to report the following distinctions:

Plains High School earned the following Distinctions:

  • Attendace Rate
  • EOC English II Performance (Level III)
  • Advanced/Dual-Credit Course Completion Rate: Mathematics
  • EOC U.S. History Performance (Level III)
  • Top 25% in Comparison Group – Closing Performance Gaps
  • Four Year Longitudinal Graduation Rate
  • College-Ready Graduates
  • Advanced/Dual-Credit Course Completion Rate: Any Subject
  • SAT/ACT Performance

Plains Middle School earned the following Distinctions:

  • Attendance Rate
  • Grade 7 Reading Performance (Level III)
  • Grade 7 Writing Perfomance (Level III)
  • Grade 8  Reading Performance (Level III)
  • Grade 6 Math Performance (Level III)
  • Grade 8 Math Performance (Level III)
  • Grade 8 Science Performance (Level III)
  • Grade 8 Social Studies Performance (Level III)
  • Top 25% in Comparison Group – Closing Performance Gaps
  • Index 4 Percent at STAAR Postsecondary Readiness Standard
