On June 15, 2021, Tim Hales took his first step into the Kingdom of Heaven.
Services will be Friday, June 18, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at United Methodist Church in Brownfield, TX with Pastor Eric Martinez officiating. Burial will be in Terry County Memorial Cemetery at the direction of Brownfield Funeral Home.
There will be a family visitation from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 17, 2021 at Brownfield Funeral Home.
Tim was born August 14, 1947 in Coolidge, AZ to Billy and Mabel Hales. Tim married Freda Price on April 10, 1999 in Brownfield, TX.
Tim began working at a very young age and had a successful career in the oil field for over 30 years. His favorite hobby was fishing and spending time with his family and most importantly, his grandchildren. Tim is preceded in death by his parents, late wife, Shirley, one brother, four sisters, and a stepson.
Tim is survived by his wife, Freda of Brownfield, his two daughters, Melissa Hope and husband Jimmy of Brownfield, Angela Perez and husband Pete of Brownfield, and his son Chris Moore and wife Angie of Lubbock, eleven grandchildren, Josh Hope and wife Andrea of Lubbock, TX, Brittney Jimenez and husband Michael, Jr of Brownfield, Kortney Valdez and husband Rocky of Lubbock, Aaron Moore and wife Anna of Brownfield, Tessa Howard and husband Dillon of Brownfield, Kaylee Hales and husband Angel of Brownfield, AmBree Moore of Lubbock, Jarred and Josh Gibson of Lubbock, Katie and Brian Benavidez of Brownfield, and ten great-grandchildren. There are six surviving brothers, and they are Utah of Rockdale, Buck of Brownfield, Tex of Brownfield, Marty and wife Barbara of Brownfield, Brazle and wife Sherry of Havana, AR, and Clifford and wife, Pat, of Plainview, AR. The one surviving sister is Anita Powell of Brownfield.
