Seagraves, Texas- .Funeral Services for Wayne Timms, 74, of Seagraves will be at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, December 30, 2017 in the First Assembly of God Church with Rev. L.D Henson and David Williams officiating, Burial will be in the Gaines County Cemetery Seagraves under the direction of Ratliff Funeral Home of Seagraves,
Wayne was born April 15, 1943 in Pampa, Texas to the late Roy Utah and Elner Miller Timms. He Graduated from LeFors, Texas and moved to Seagraves in 1962 to work for the Carbon Black Plant. He married Donna Prindle May 9, 1964 in Seagraves, retired from Shell Oil Cooperation after twenty-five years of service, also worked for Oxy as a maintenance mechanic. He was a member of the First Assembly of God of Seagraves for many years.
He is survived by his wife Donna of the home; a son: Scott Wayne Timms of Midland; two daughters: Shannah Yerofeyev of Sparta, NJ, Sherry Alling and her husband Brian of Conroe, Texas; one brother: Bill Timms of Mansfield, Texas; five grandchildren: Jonathan Alling, Breanne Alling, Brookelynn Alling, Alexander Yerofeyev, Anna Yerofeyev.
Visitation will be December 29, 2017 from 6 P.M. to 7 P.M. in the Ratliff Funeral Home Seagraves.
The family suggest that memorials be made to the Seagraves Museum or The First Assembly of God Church in Seagraves, Texas.
