Xavier Romo Castillo September 9, 2019

Funeral services for Xavier Romo Castillo, 74, of Denver City will be conducted Thursday, September 12, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. in the St. William Catholic Church with Father Leonardo Tahamtang officiating    Interment will follow in the Denver City Memorial Park with services under the direction of Ratliff Funeral Home of Denver City.

He passed away September 09, 2019 in Denver City.

Xavier was born in San Juan De Sabinas Coahuila, Mexico to Rumaldo and Magdelena Castillo.  He married Margarita Mancillas on December 19, 1981 in Nava Coahuila, Mexico.  Xavier was employed in the oil field for 40 years until retirement and also worked for the Denver City ISD as a bus driver during his employment. He was a member of the St. Williams Catholic Church of Denver City.  He went to New Mexico Jr College and there he received an Associates Degree, a member of the Knights of Columbus for thirty-six years, assisted people with immigration documents, loved photography and took many pictures for weddings and Quinceaneras.

Xavier was preceded in death by his brother Armando Castillo Romo, and his parents Magdalena Romo and Rumaldo Castillo.

Xavier is survived by his wife Mararita Castillo of the home; a son Cristian Xavier Castillo of Denver City; three daughters Cristina Castillo Cadena and her husband John, Claudia Castillo and her husband Justin Garcia all of San Antonio, Corina Castillo and her fiancé Alejandro Gutierrez of Lubbock; two grandchildren Melody and Jazmine Cadena.

Rosary will be recited Tuesday and Wednesday, September 10th and 11th at 7:00 P.M. in the Ratliff Funeral Home Chapel Denver City.
