Precinct #2 Justice of the Peace Troy Scott met with Commissioners with some request for his office. In the first item Judge Scott was requesting additional funds for anticipated future autopsies. He told the Court he was allotted $10,000 yearly for autopsies and he was at the end of his funds. Each autopsy cost approximately $2,000. Judge Scott went on to tell the Commissioners five or six autopsies had been performed this year. After more discussions the Court approved an additional $5,000 from contingency for possible future autopsies.

In addition, Judge Scott also requested funds for a new computer in his office. He explained to the Court this particular computer was a scheduled replacement, which occurs every five years. He noted the computer would be the only thing that he would replace, they would keep the same monitor and other items related to the computer. The Court approved $1,800 for the purchase of a new computer.
