Yoakum County Commissioners Court Meets March 18, Quick Agenda

The Yoakum County Commissioners Court met on Monday, March 18, where they addressed a very short weekly agenda.

First, on the agenda the Court moved to audit and settle all accounts against the County and direct their payments. After looking over the bills and addressing any concerns a motion was made and unanimously approved to pay County bills that totaled $152,689.96 and Medical facility bills that totaled $186,007.06.

The only action item on the agenda was to consider and take appropriate action on a request from Stakeholder Midstream to amend Road Crossing application #2019-1-21-A. product carried-natural gas to crude oil and a name change from Stakeholder Gas to Stakeholder Midstream. A motion was made and unanimously approved by the Commissioners.

There were two road crossing permits from Walsh in Precinct #2. A motion was made by Precinct #2 Commissioners Ray Marion to approve these permits and unanimously approved by the Court.

County Auditor Darinda McWhirter informed the Court action needed to be taken to remove several computer related items from an inventory list. A motion was made and unanimously approved to remove the items from their respective list.There were no line item transfers and no Soil Conservation request.

Commissioners Woody Lindsey, Ray Marion, Tommy Box, and Tim Addison along with Judge Jim Barron were all in attendance. The next meeting will be held on Monday, March 25, starting at 10 am.
