Funeral services for Sara Dyck, age 73 of Seminole, Texas will be held Thursday, February 17, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Old Colony Mennonite Church with Bishop Cornelius Fehr officiating. Burial will follow at Gaines County Cemetery. All services are under the direction of Boyer Funeral Home.
Mrs. Dyck was born in Mexico July 29, 1948 to Sara (Fehr) and Abram Wall. She married John Dyck in Mexico on July 13, 1969. She was a member of Old Colony Mennonite Church and a homemaker. Sara enjoyed knitting, caring for other people, visiting her sister from out of state and spending time with her family.
Sara Dyck passed away Monday, February 14, 2022 at University Medical Center in Lubbock, Texas. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, John Dyck in 2021; one daughter, three brothers, and four sisters. She is survived by four sons, Isaac Dyck and Jacob Dyck and wife Maria, both of Seminole, Abraham Dyck and wife Susana of Meadow, Texas, and John Dyck and wife Elizabeth of Tarzan, Texas; two daughters, Justina Rempel and husband Jake of Wellman, Texas, and Sara Hildebrand and husband John of Brownfield, Texas; two brothers, Jacob Wall and wife Margaret and Peter Wall and wife Trudy, both of Canada; one sister, Elizabeth Dyck of Canada; 22 grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
