Candidates filing to run for office

The following candidates have officially filed to run for election in the upcoming County Election Primary to be held in March of 2022.

County Clerk – Kim Carter

Justice of the Peace – Angie Garza and David Cox

District Clerk – Tiffany O’Briant

County Treasurer – Andrea Perry and Tessa Clark

County Judge – Larry Gilbreath

County Commissioner Precinct 2 – Kirby Keesee

Others have filed the paperwork showing their intent to run, but until the final paperwork is filed, they are not an official candidate.

The deadline to file is 6 p.m. December 13, 2021.
