Filing for the May 2nd General Election continues at a slow pace, according to Joint Elections Administrator Krystal Valentine. There are a total of 21 positions across the County that will be up for election in this Election. As of Tuesday, February 4 at 10 a.m., only six people had filed for any position, according to information from the Elections Office Website. Filing will continue through 5 p.m. on Friday, February 14. For more information on filing, contact the Elections Office at 806-300-8965. Or you can go by the office at 507-A West Main in Brownfield.

BRMC – 2 Directors at Large
Brownfield ISD – Trustee District 4 and Trustee District 5
Meadow ISD – 2 Trustees At Large
Wellman-Union ISD – 2 Trustees At Large
City of Brownfield – Mayor, Council Members District 1, District 2 and District 3
City of Meadow – Mayor, 2 Council Members At Large
City of Wellman – Council Members Place 1, Place 3 and Place 5
South Plains Underground Water Conservation District – Directors Precinct 1, 3 and At Large
