High speed chase ends in Meadow

An early Sunday morning high speed chase that began in Hockley County then went down FM 211 in Terry County and ended up traveling through Meadow and ended near the Meadow ISD ag farm.

Texas Department of Safety officials stated the chase began when the suspect began to attempt to avoid arrest or detention.

ARZABALA, RANDY is in custody in the Terry County Law Enforcement Center. He is currently charged with unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon, aggravated assault against a public servant, evading arrest detention with a motor vehicle, unlawful restraint – exposed to serious bodily injury, fraudulent use or possession of identification items- less than 5, unauthorized use of a vehicle, prohibited substance in a correctional facility, and possession of a controlled substance PG 1 < 1G.
