Angelita (Garcia) Marroquin

Brownfield- Angelita Garcia Marroquin 83, of Brownfield, passed away on May 14, 2018, in Lubbock. Angelita was a custodian at Brownfield ISD and was also a Homemaker. She was a great seamstress, loved singing at church, studied the bible and cared for her grandchildren. Angelita is survived by her sons, Steve (Janie) Gonzales, Ruben Gonzales, Rosendo Gonzales, Elisandro (Martha) Gonzales, and Amador Marroquin, daughters, Rosalinda (Valentin) Gamez, Gloria (Daniel Sr.) Leal, Dora Celia Tkadlec, and Aldy (Jorge) Ramirez. She is also survived by 28 grandchildren, 58 great-grandchildren, 7 great-great-grandchildren, brothers, Abram (Amelia) Garcia, Rosendo Garcia, Reynaldo Garcia, and Nieves (Lucinda) Garcia, sisters, Jovita Jimenez, Maria Sanchez, Delia (Joe) Ybarra, Dolores Gonzales, Teresa Segura, and Christina (Daniel) Valles. Viewing will be held on May 16, 2018, from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Head Duarte Funeral Home Chapel of Brownfield. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on May 17, 2018, at Templo Bethel Baptist Church of Brownfield with Reverend Santos Gamez Sr. officiating. Interment will follow at the Brownfield Cemetery of Brownfield. Under the direction of Head Duarte Funeral Home of Brownfield.
