Service for G.W. Dill, 74, of Brownfield will be held at 2 pm Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at Calvary Baptist Church with E.C. Harlan and Rev. Mark Prince officiating and Rev. Jerold Baldwin assisting.
Visitation will be held from 6-8 pm on Monday, March 16, 2015 at Brownfield Funeral Home.
G.W. Dill passed away on Wednesday, March, 11, 2015 in Lubbock. G.W. was born on March 30, 1940 in Tipton, OK to Thomas H. and Rosa Evett Dill. He married Cora Sue Harlan on May 1, 1959. He was a farmer for 53 years and was a member of The Crossing Church of God.
G.W. is preceded in death by his parents; 6 brothers, Thomas, Dee, Rufus, S.M., Jave Van, and Harrison; 6 sisters, Bertha Boling, Irene Brown, Clara Lowe, Alma Jean Yost, Christine Purser and Clydos Ann Jowers.
G.W. is survived his wife, Sue Dill; son, Tony Dill and wife Donna of Brownfield; daughter, Rhonda Dill of Lubbock; 3 nephews, which he and Sue raised as their own, James Harlan and wife Linsey of Wellman, E.C. Harlan and wife Heather of Brownfield and Jeremy Harlan of Albuquerque, NM; 2 grandsons, Ryan Dill and wife Ashley and Tel Harlan all of Brownfield; 4 granddaughters, Erica Hogue and husband Tanner of Brownfield, Haylee Dill of Lubbock, Swayzee and Jerzee Harlan of Wellman; 3 great-grandsons, Brason, Braxton and Brody Dill of Brownfield; great-granddaughter, Kolbee Jordan of Lubbock; step children Morgan and Sean Vaughan and Calvin Day and step great-grandchildren, Maggie and Mason Vaughan.
