Dulan Rodney Payne 60, 0f Lubbock passed away on Sunday, October 20, 2017. He was born on November 26, 1956 in Seminole, Texas to Clifford Dwan and Annie Sue Dolloff Payne. Rodney graduated from Seagraves High School in 1975 and furthered his education at South Plains College Graduating in 1980 with a nursing degree. He was employed by University Medical Center from 1980 to 2007 working in the ICU’S. He worked two years at Canyon Lakes Adolescent treatment center. He was the owner of Rod’s Gun Shop. Rodney’s passion was shooting his gun. He was chairman of Llano Estacado FNRA. He was also involved with FNRA College Scholarship Committee and the Texas Yes Program.

Services conducted Friday, October 27, 2017 at 3:00 P.M. in the Ratliff Funeral Home Chapel Brownfield. With Interment in the Gaines County Cemetery in Seagraves, Texas with services under the direction of Ratliff Funeral Home Brownfield.

Rodney is survived by his wife Lori of 31 years, a son Andrew (Lyndsey Dean) of Seminole, Brothers; Chester (Mary) Payne of Seagraves, Dennis Payne of LaVernia, Texas and a sister Karen Robertson of Lubbock; Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews.  Rodney was preceded in death by his parents, sister Linda Sanson and a brother-in-law Steve Robertson.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Texas Yes Program affiliated with Texas State Rife Association, 3524 Knickerbocker road, San Angelo, Texas 76904.
